About The Position

Wasatch Labs is seeking a Receiving/Inventory Support professional to manage the flow of goods into and out of our facility. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, documenting, and storing incoming shipments, as well as performing inventory counts and audits. The role also involves preparing outgoing shipments and operating material handling equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in a receiving, inventory, or warehouse environment.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and systems.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Responsibilities

Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
Document discrepancies, damages, or shortages and report them to the appropriate department.
Accurately label and store received items in designated locations.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory audits.
Maintain accurate inventory records using company software and systems.
Organize and maintain the receiving and inventory storage areas to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling, as needed.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and quality control departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
