About The Position

This role is responsible for unloading trucks, performing system transactions, delivering products, and storing inventory items. The position requires a minimum of a High School GED and 3-6 years of previous manufacturing experience. Attention to detail and high transactional accuracy are essential. A good driving record, valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT Health Exam are also required.

Requirements

3-6 years of previous manufacturing experience required.
Attention to detail and high transactional accuracy required.
Good driving record, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass the DOT Health Exam and be covered under Paragon’s insurance are all required.
Forklift license.
Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to operate a saw.

Nice To Haves

Previous receiving, inventory and delivery experience preferred.
Caliper & micrometer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Unloads trucks, counts all receipts (from both external and internal sources), and enters all receipts into ERP system. External receipts are moved to incoming Quality Inspection or delivered to requisitioner.
Serve as back-up driver and make deliveries/pick up production materials within a 3-hour radius (approx.).
Responsible for marking and storing all materials in designated areas.
Issue materials for work orders, cycle count inventory and perform transactions for return issues.
Responsible for physical inventory accuracy of assigned areas.
Maintain files for material certifications.
Cutting orders at the saw.
Writing up returns at the saw.
May enter purchase order for outsource product.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Other pick-up and delivery for other areas of business on an as needed basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Once employee demonstrates competency in position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles.
