This position assumes responsibility for the receiving area and freight elevator. The clerk will maintain the safety, orderliness, and cleanliness of the area. They will verify licenses, insurances, and permits of all service providers and contractors through the management office, enforce parking regulations, and enforce the rules and regulations of the Association. Good communication and customer service skills are essential. The role ensures the receiving area office is never left unattended/unlocked and that the receiving area is never blocked. The clerk will schedule the freight elevator for residents moving in and out in advance, adhering to Association Policy. They will register all deliveries and packages (i.e. Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, registered mail), and report all problems to the supervisor, including those outside the scope of their responsibility. The clerk will issue parking passes to all approved vehicles, register and distribute ID passes to all contractors, and monitor the coming and going of service contractors and building repair and maintenance contractors through logs. Completing required reports and ensuring all safety precautions are followed while performing work are also key duties. The role requires maintaining a safe work area and performing other duties as required.
