Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use. Role Purpose: The Warehouse Receiving Coordinator manages inbound shipments, verifies documentation, maintains inventory accuracy, and resolves discrepancies. SAP experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of warehouse, receiving, logistics, or related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • SAP or ERP experience preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP WM or MM.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and inventory control.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners and automated inventory systems.
  • Supply chain, logistics, or SAP training or certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against purchase orders.
  • Process goods receipts and update inventory in SAP.
  • Maintain receiving documentation and prepare reports.
  • Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect items and coordinate returns.
  • Assist with cycle counts, audits, and inventory control.
  • Process RMAs and vendor returns.
  • Follow safety, compliance, and warehouse procedures.
  • Support process improvements and collaborate with internal teams.
