The Receiving Clerk is responsible for reading and understanding work order requirements to facilitate product movement within the facility. This role involves organizing and prioritizing work based on receipt date, identifying expedited products, and entering data for received orders. The clerk will inspect parts for damage, count and measure them, and document special planning requirements on the purchase order. They will also document and report any product discrepancies to the Customer Service Representative for customer resolution. Data entry into the Orizon Aerostructures Work Order System is a key part of the role, including customer data, detailed items, processes, and measurement tabs for non-complex planning. Additionally, the clerk will operate a digital camera to upload pictures into the work order system. Other duties include operating office equipment, material handling equipment (with certification), power tools, and loading/unloading trucks. Maintaining a clean and organized work area according to company standards, observing safety requirements, and handling customer-supplied product with care are also essential. The role requires maintaining Orizon Aerostructures quality standards to meet customer expectations.
