About The Position

Leaders Furniture is hiring a Receiving Clerk. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm. This role involves unloading delivery trucks and containers, checking incoming shipments against product invoices, maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming products, organizing product for storage in the warehouse, and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the department team lead. The position also requires maintaining a clean and orderly work area and equipment.

Requirements

  • No experience necessary - we will train motivated individuals
  • Able to lift 20 – 50 lbs. frequently and over 50lbs in a team lift occasionally
  • Able to stand and walk the entire shift
  • Positive attitude
  • Reliable and on time

Responsibilities

  • Unload delivery trucks and containers.
  • Check incoming shipments against product invoices.
  • Maintain inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming products.
  • Organize product for storing in the warehouse.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department team lead.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition which will include sweeping, dusting and mopping.
