This position is responsible for coordinating receiving activities, scheduling delivery appointments, maintaining receiving records, entering receipts into inventory systems, and supporting accurate inventory control. The ideal candidate will have previous receiving experience, familiarity with MRP and inventory control systems, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate receiving activities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse receiving, or a related environment
- Experience working with an MRP system and/or inventory control system
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and information
- Willingness to take on new projects and support organizational initiatives

Responsibilities
- Coordinate receiving activities, including delivery appointments and delivery locations
- Enter and maintain accurate receipts in Protean
- Maintain an organized receiving recordkeeping system
- Assist with inventory level management through effective communication and coordination
- Verify Bill of Materials (BOM) information against physical receipts
- Support and refine the raw material tagging process through collaboration with Information Technology
- Support off-site receiving activities as needed
- Maintain accurate receiving and inventory information within applicable systems
- Take on new projects and support organizational initiatives as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
