About The Position

The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing inventory and supplies to various resort departments. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, proper stock rotation, and adherence to safety and quality standards, supporting the resort's seamless daily operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in inventory or storeroom operations preferred.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping procedures.
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Familiarity with inventory software or systems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Certification for operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries for quantity, quality, and accuracy.
Organize and maintain storeroom inventory, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
Distribute supplies and products to departments in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory control procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storeroom areas following safety guidelines.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager.
Ensure proper handling and storage of perishable and non-perishable items.
Assist with stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
Operate inventory management systems to track inventory movements and maintain records.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling and storing products.
