Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years’ experience in Material Management in a hospital.
Able to lift 30 - 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques several times during shift.
Job requires physical ability for long-term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaching above head and below waist.
Able to read, write and communicate in English. Have cognitive skills for math, reading, filing, decision making and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with receiving of all incoming supplies for the hospital
Sign the bill of lading for all supplies received.
Assist with checking in of all equipment.
Assist with entering all receiving into the HMS system.
Assist with the shipping out of all repairs.
Assist with inventorying par areas and delivering of supplies to floors.
Ensure timely response to departmental periodic supply request.
Comply with policy and procedure for storeroom requirements including fire code requirements, cleaning of the storeroom.
