About The Position

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you’ll be part of our team located in Willard, OH. You’ll get to oversee the proper loading and unloading of inbound and outbound trucks, properly scan inbound and outbound material through the Janus gun, and review and verify all inbound and outbound manifests for completeness and accuracy. You will also maintain proper weight distribution of outbound trailers to comply with safe delivery requirements and maintain open communication with Supervisors and Zone Leaders to manage hot parts deliveries accurately and timely. You will abide by all SBD Outdoor Willard safety policies, follow all applicable ISO standards & procedures, and operate a lift truck or other equipment as needed. Ensure all stock areas are kept neat and organized. Assist department with daily tasks as needed. Perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid lift truck operators license or successfully complete lift truck training.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good knowledge of Janus scanning gun and procedures.
• Need to possess good problem sensitivity.
• Working knowledge of AS400 and Microsoft Access.
• Must be self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous shipping & receiving experience is preferred.
