About The Position

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a Receiving Clerk for its West Bend plant. Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, this role primarily processes parts through the facility, including receiving materials against purchase orders and verifying receipts, materials, and quantities. The clerk moves materials between locations and may help organize inventory throughout the facility.

The position works Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime may be mandatory or voluntary depending on business needs and may include short, early Saturday shifts. The role requires being on one’s feet for most of the shift, with occasional computer work while seated.

• Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds routinely and 50 pounds occasionally.

• Ability to remain on one’s feet for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow FIFO instructions for all products.
• Load and unload materials by hand onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Move materials to or from storage or work sites to designated areas using a forklift, hand truck, electric dolly, or other device.
• Operate an industrial truck or electric hoist to assist with loading or moving materials and products.
• Complete a daily inspection before starting the forklift.
• Assist with routine or general housekeeping tasks related to the plant’s 6S plan.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
• Use the SAP ERP computer system to process inbound materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
