About The Position

We are currently looking for a Reception and Shipping Clerk to join our team in Montréal-Est. Requirements

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in shipping and receiving or in an industrial environment
Ability to establish and manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to make quick decisions
Functional level communication in both French and English
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Professional attitude
Basic knowledge of computer systems and comfort using management software
Ability to operate a forklift
Comfort performing physical tasks

Responsibilities

Confirm customer visit schedules
Work closely with the logistics and transportation teams
Welcome customers and ensure the proper reception of materials in accordance with established procedures
Assist with the unloading and handling of materials using a forklift
Sort, inspect, and direct different types of metals to the appropriate departments
Weigh materials and prepare receiving and shipping documents
Perform data entry and any other related tasks to support daily operations
