About The Position
Starwood Hotels is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Receiving Agent to join their Culinary team. This role is responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming deliveries, organizing and storing products, maintaining accurate receiving records, and ensuring inventory is handled safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on position that requires frequent lifting, moving boxes, and supporting the daily operation of the hotel's receiving area. The role requires flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
Requirements
- Comfortable lifting and moving heavy boxes and standing for extended periods
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to inspect deliveries, verify invoices, and report discrepancies
- Works well independently while collaborating with the Culinary team and vendors
- Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
Nice To Haves
- Previous receiving, warehouse, purchasing, or food & beverage experience is preferred
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or receiving systems are a plus
