About The Position
Motek, a part of Happy Corner Hospitality collective, is a Mediterranean concept restaurant. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and culinary experiences to our valued customers. As a receiver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen with stocking and receiving orders from our vendors.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Mediterranean food is a plus.
- Bilingual (not required however, it is a huge plus.)
Responsibilities
- Assist Chef's with ordering products.
- Be main point of contact to receive products from vendors.
- Review invoices carefully to ensure orders match what was received.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
