About The Position

Wieland is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution. We provide a large product and service portfolio including power, automotive, ammunition, coinage, construction materials, refrigeration, electronics and many other industries. Wieland is hiring a Warehouse Receiver. This role will be responsible for assisting with overall warehouse operations, including receiving incoming material and maintaining inventory. This role is located in Ontario, CA and will be fully on-site.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail (critical skill)
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and management
• Ability to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary
• Ability to work flexible hours as required by the position

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe organized working environment
• Review incoming shipping documents and update inventory
• Inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy
• Report product discrepancies to management
• Actively communicate with teammates
• Unload inventory/packages from trucks
• Operate forklifts to relocate material
• Other Operations-related tasks as assigned
