Material Handler is responsible for the handling and placement of materials needed within each department of the home building facility. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team

Nice To Haves

  • Previous construction or warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience operating a forklift or forklift certification preferred, training available

Responsibilities

  • Drive Forklift
  • Provide Materials to plant
  • Receive material that are delivered from vendors
  • Check off deliveries by company material to packing slips
  • Put materials in respective areas
  • Responsible for getting materials to respective Departments in timely manner
  • Rotate materials by date and delivery
  • Check quality and state of material that is being received
  • Other duties as assigned.
