About The Position

Gary's Wine & Marketplace is seeking a dedicated and organized Receiver / Warehouse and Stock Team Member for its back-of-house operations. The role supports efficient receiving, storage, and stocking of products to maintain inventory accuracy and smooth store operations. The company is a locally owned and operated wine retailer with brick-and-mortar stores and an online presence, offering wines, beers, spirits, cheeses, meats, and gourmet foods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or stock management is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in checking orders.
• Reliability and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments promptly and accurately.
• Inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
• Store and organize inventory in the warehouse.
• Prepare stock for shelving and assist with stocking duties as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and stock areas.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill stock and delivery needs.
• Perform periodic inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
