As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and prepare your area for daily operations. The role is physical and fast-paced, involves spending most of the shift on your feet, and requires safe lifting practices and attention to detail. Scheduling may include morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight hours depending on store needs. You may also assist customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. You will unload freight, move products to the sales floor, stock and organize merchandise, verify deliveries, prepare the dock, and maintain a clean and safe workspace. Equipment may include pallet jacks, forklifts, scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools. In Pro Fulfillment Stores, the position also supports picking, staging, loading, and coordinating delivery orders. Lowe’s offers competitive pay, flexible schedules, health insurance options, tuition assistance, a company-matching 401(k), an optional Employee Stock Purchase Program, a 10% associate discount, and the Track to the Trades program. Benefit eligibility varies. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Working conditions vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor work and exposure to extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. Associates may encounter constant or intermittent noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Single lifts are limited to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
