Full Time - Receiver/Stocker - Overnight

About The Position

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, handling equipment and hazardous materials safely, and preparing your area for daily operations. It is physical and fast-paced, with most of the shift spent on your feet. Schedules may include morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight hours based on store needs. You may also assist customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. You will unload freight, move products to the sales floor, maintain organized backrooms and shelves, and keep a clean, safe workspace. You may assist customers in locating or loading products. Additional duties at Pro Fulfillment Stores include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading orders, rotating them by delivery date, resolving order issues, communicating with customers, and following Delivery Readiness practices. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Working conditions vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor work, extreme heat or cold, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or help from a trained coworker.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Three months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Six months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.

Responsibilities

Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
Verify deliveries, complete dock preparation, and support store operations using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintain a safe, clean environment by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.
