About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Receiver / Purchasing & Inventory Assistant to support the daily operations of the restaurant. This role is responsible for managing product orders, receiving merchandise, processing invoices, maintaining inventory systems, and ensuring all storage areas are organized and properly maintained. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with internal purchasing software, creating purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and collaborating closely with the Chef and General Manager on administrative and operational tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous receiving, purchasing, restaurant, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using ordering systems, internal software, and basic computer programs.
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize products as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexible availability at the end of the month for inventory.
  • Great communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Place orders for food, beverage, supplies, and other operational needs.
  • Follow internal ordering guidelines and purchasing procedures.
  • Create purchase orders through the company’s internal software system.
  • Ensure orders are accurate, timely, and aligned with operational needs.
  • Receive merchandise both physically and electronically.
  • Verify that delivered products match purchase orders and invoices.
  • Process invoices and prepare them for payment.
  • Identify and communicate any discrepancies, missing items, damaged products, or pricing issues.
  • Support account reconciliation with vendors and internal systems.
  • Assist with end-of-month inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Help organize and maintain the walk-in coolers, liquor rooms, dry storage, and other storage areas.
  • Ensure all products are stored properly following FIFO standards.
  • Support cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency throughout storage and receiving areas.
  • Collaborate with the Chef and General Manager on daily operational needs.
  • Assist with scheduling, office work, invoice reconciliation, reports, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Help maintain clear communication between management, vendors, and internal departments.
