About The Position

This role is responsible for the accurate and timely receiving of goods, ensuring that all incoming inventory is properly documented and accounted for. The Purchasing Receiver plays a crucial part in maintaining real-time inventory tracking and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve any discrepancies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of receiving, material handling, or inventory control experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP software.

Nice To Haves

• Math skills for inventory counts.
• Exceptional attention to detail to catch PO discrepancies.
• Clear written and verbal communication for vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Verify packing slips against purchase orders (POs), and confirm quantities received.
• Input delivery data into the ERP system immediately to maintain real-time inventory tracking.
• Document discrepancies (shortages, overages, damages) and collaborate with buyers and vendors to resolve them.
• Support weekly cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
