Requirements

Ability to hand lift an average of 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 70 lbs.
Forklift operation experience is desirable.
Comfortable navigating an inventory system.
Comfortable with 10-key operation.
Ability to retain commodity sort and carrier special handling guidelines.
Ability to unload and process trailers in a fast-paced setting.
Courteous interface with customers.
Reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

Unloading freight, 50% of the time, half via forklift and half by hand-carrying to a pallet near the door.
Processing freight, 50% of the time, which includes scanning and matching to freight bills, applying inventory number labels, and palletizing freight.
Sorting inventory, holding high-value items, scrapping low-value items, and sorting the rest by commodity.
On Fridays, operating a forklift to bring customers their pallets for bid sale loadouts.
Operating a forklift safely within trailer confines.
Navigating the inventory system and potentially using a 10-key.
Retaining commodity sort and carrier special handling guidelines.
Unloading and processing trailers in a fast-paced setting.
Interfacing with customers on Fridays for bid sale loadouts.
Being dependable and present for work.
