Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Work a varied schedule to ensure delivery of product to customers (dayshift hours but may include early mornings and/or late evenings.)
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, reach, squat and bend during an assigned shift.
  • Possess and maintain a CDL Class B License
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a real ID
  • Clean driving history
  • Pass and maintain DOT Medical and Physical Examination and other clearances
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
  • Basic Math/Reading Skills
  • 6 months driving (Class B) experience required
  • Able to follow predetermined routing/directions
  • Works well in a team environment and with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Unloading delivery trucks
  • Receiving freight into the computer system
  • Drive/operate box trucks to transport orders between customer locations.
  • Manually handle equipment from pallets and load to hand truck to transport customer orders into the facility.
  • Utilize pallet jack to move pallets of product to and from truck to delivery location.
  • Communicate with customers and/or supervisor using handheld devices.
  • Conduct daily inspection of truck prior to departure.
  • Manually break down freight and receive into computer system.
  • Put away products utilizing powered industrial equipment.
  • Perform tasks in a safe manner and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify and report workplace hazards.
  • Periodic use of hand and power tools.
  • Assist with warehouse activities when a delivery route is not scheduled
  • Overtime required as needed.
