About The Position

This role involves performing extensive kitchen equipment inspections to ensure optimal efficiency, documenting maintenance issues, and investigating/resolving open reports. The Food Receiver Driver will also perform basic maintenance tasks, work with culinary teams and vendors on equipment purchases and supply procurement, and verify received materials. Responsibilities include updating order reports, handling food truck logistics (driving, maintenance, cleaning), and potentially leading equipment-related projects.

Requirements

  • Must have a driver's license to operate electric vehicles, vans, box trucks, food trucks, food trailers/carts, and/or tow trucks.
  • Must have and maintain an active Food Handlers Card, as required by the State Health Department.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  • Type 45 WPM.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft program knowledge: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, etc.
  • Communicate efficiently and fluently in both written and oral form.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Independent thinker to resolve matters as they arise.

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year experience in a food service operation as an Equipment Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Perform extensive kitchen equipment inspections to ensure units are running at optimum efficiency.
  • Document maintenance issues through the task tool system.
  • Investigate open reports and follow up with on-site engineer technicians to ensure issues are resolved, providing updates.
  • Perform basic maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, building carts/cambro shelves, and replacing/inflating cart tires/speed racks.
  • Work closely with other teams outside of culinary and approved on-board vendors.
  • Work with vendors regarding equipment purchases and follow up on procurement of supplies.
  • Verify materials received are as ordered and route incoming items to appropriate teams/locations safely, orderly, and in a timely manner.
  • Update order reports by providing delivery details and uploading invoices properly.
  • Handle food truck logistics including driving, removal of grease water, refilling water, diesel, gas, propane, and weekly/monthly washing.
  • May be assigned to plan and lead equipment-related projects.
