About The Position

The Elmhurst Park District is seeking a part-time Rec Station Leader for its Before & After School Program. This role involves working directly with children, assisting in the implementation of various program activities, and supporting the team with equipment setup and takedown. Employees in this role can enroll their age-eligible dependents in the program at no cost during their working shifts, provided they work at least three shifts per week.

Requirements

Some high school education
At least 16 years of age

Responsibilities

Work directly with children enrolled in the Rec Station Program.
Assist in implementing program activities in areas such as arts and crafts, drama, sports and games, outdoor recreation, field trips, special events, socialization, and quiet activities.
Support the team to set-up and take-down equipment.
