Rebar and Post-Tension Machine Operator
About The Position
Suncoast Post-Tension is North America’s largest unbonded post-tension specialist. Suncoast has been in business for over 30 years, and we are dedicated to providing the construction industry with engineering expertise, responsive service and manufacturing excellence to ensure safe, timely and cost-effective installations, restorations and repairs. We are seeking a Rebar and Post-Tension Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate specialized, custom-built equipment engineered explicitly for our post-tension manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical competence, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Requirements
- Rebar industry experience and background running machinery is strictly required
- Strong, demonstrable mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex, automated industrial equipment
- Reliable, highly safety-minded, quality-focused, and comfortable with a rigorous industrial workload ("not afraid to get dirty")
Nice To Haves
- Prior forklift experience is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Configure, program, and safely operate custom machines utilizing computerized CNC control consoles to meet precise production metrics
- Conduct continuous inspections of processed materials to guarantee total compliance with our rigorous structural quality guidelines
- Utilize strong mechanical aptitude to handle machine setups, identify operating variances, and troubleshoot minor mechanical adjustments or issues
