About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the EEO Office’s Office Manager, with some discretion for independent decision-making, this role assists the EEO Office with the processing of reasonable accommodations requests submitted by employees and applicants for employment. This includes receiving, logging, and tracking the processing of RA requests by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using relevant spreadsheets and databases. The role also participates in the processing of RA requests by engaging in cooperative dialogue with relevant parties across divisions and units, assists with training employees on RA request policies and procedures, and completes any related or assigned administrative work.

Requirements

  • Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school.
  • Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school.

Nice To Haves

  • For Assignment Level II (Information Technology): Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or closely related field, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study.
  • For Assignment Level III (Information Technology Fellow): Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or other area relevant to the information technology project(s) assigned, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study.
  • Appointments to Assignment Level III will be made by the Technology Steering Committee through the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in cooperative dialogue with relevant parties across divisions and units during the processing of RA requests.
  • Assist with training employees on RA request policies and procedures.
