About The Position

The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Real Estate business area in the delivery of projects to introduce new technology, testing of new and existing technology, data & reporting needs, education & training on technology solutions, and first-level support for incidents and problems with existing systems. Responsibilities include facilitating and participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the departmental organizations as well as ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values. This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the initiation and planning phases of project management which include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operational activities within the project life cycle.

Requirements

• 4 years’ experience in supporting a variety of software applications
• Project Certification
• Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) systems and infrastructure within the Real Estate organization
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Tririga/Compass, Publix Property Portal, Request Center and SAP

Responsibilities

• Facilitating and/or participating on cross-functional project teams to design, develop and implement applications and technology solutions for the Real Estate department
• Facilitating and reporting outputs from testing including data integrity, scripting, defects, and failure procedures
• Providing support related to incidents, problems, planned outages, and known errors for all existing systems and technology solutions utilized by the Real Estate department
• The development of gap solutions using available technologies, including the Office o365 tools available to assist users when their processes cannot easily or quickly be incorporated into a core Real Estate Solution
