This role involves public contact work, conducting negotiations with property owners and/or their legal representatives to secure property interests needed for County projects. The position requires reviewing work and providing guidance to staff in the production and processing of acquisition documents, including the maintenance of the County's land inventory, processing of street lighting districts, and vacations of rights-of-way and/or easements. The role also assists in negotiations of terms and conditions of acquisition and disposition contracts and prepares agreements. Work is performed under the supervision of the Real Estate Services Director.
