Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economic or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Partnership tax experience - Understanding of Subchapter K and/or partnership allocations
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient use of technology including MS Excel
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service preferred (i.e. CPA or MST advanced credential)
  • Master’s or secondary degree
  • GoSystems and ProSystems experience

Responsibilities

  • Tax return reviews
  • Identifying client issues
  • Communicating with clients and financial managers
  • Conduct research on various client issues
  • Supervise Associates and Senior Associates
  • Participation in the professional growth and development of Associates and Senior Associates
