About The Position

This role involves inspecting properties, monitoring escrow holdbacks, and managing renovation loans. The Specialist will perform various property inspections, determine occupancy status, and coordinate with contractors for securing and winterizing vacant properties. Responsibilities include inspecting and disbursing funds for escrow holdbacks, AHFC, and FHLMC Renovation loans, as well as interacting with Special Credits and assisting with collection efforts through property inspections. The position also entails posting evictions and Assignment of Rents, quoting and processing payoffs for Construction and RE Loans, and providing backup support for the RE Loan Reconveyance process, the Reception Desk, and the MSA phone queue during peak times. Additionally, the role involves assisting with audit requests and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Two years’ experience as a property manager or in a property management division of a lending institution or in a building maintenance position.
• Working knowledge of heating systems, plumbing systems, and adequate winterization methods.
• Knowledge of investor requirements.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable and insurable driving record.
• Pre-employment, and random drug testing required.

Nice To Haves

• Six months’ direct experience coordinating, securing, and winterizing real properties preferred.
• Sound navigational skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior, exterior, and virtual inspections on property as assigned by Management.
• Determine occupancy status and coordinate with contractor to secure and winterize if vacant.
• Inspect and disburse escrow holdbacks, AHFC and FHLMC Renovation loans.
• Interact with Special Credits and assist in collection efforts with property inspections.
• Post evictions and Assignment of Rents.
• Quote Construction & RE Loan payoffs.
• Process payoff funds for Construction and RE Loan Payoffs.
• Assist as backup for the RE Loan Reconveyance process and Reception Desk.
• Assist as backup for the MSA phone queue during peak times.
• Assist with Audit requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
