Lead implementation of strategic and operational aspects of Truist's owned/leased real estate portfolio. Role impacts overall teammate and client experience and is significant in managing Truist's overall project and program management. Position required to be in office 5 days each week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related project or program management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid understanding of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the real estate operations discipline.
  • Ability to manage complex competing priorities using analytic and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience presenting to and collaborating with Executive and Senior Leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, and the ability to manage in a dynamic environment with a high performing team.
  • Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents.

Nice To Haves

  • Corporate Real Estate, Banking or financial services experience.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program management role providing oversight for key corporate strategic initiatives and corporate real estate and workplace (CREW) partners to ensure delivery of a quality result.
  • Develop a comprehensive vendor performance program which ensures vendor / service risk and compliance.
  • Oversee assigned major, strategic real estate vendors at a programmatic level from conception to completion to ensure achievement of business needs.
  • Maintain operational oversight of a portfolio of third-party service relationships (including, but not limited to Facility Management, Project Management, Transactions Management, Design, etc.) that support Truist’s Corporate Real Estate team.
  • Lead highly complex and visible projects with notable risk and complexity, including the development of performance standards & KPI’s.
  • Make leadership decisions within established policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Serves as the primary escalation point for vendor issues that cannot be resolved at the operational team level, lead the resolution of complex service issues or vendor non-compliance matters coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed to mitigate risk.
  • Solve routine and unique problems of high complexity by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents.
  • Influences and leads large-scale vendor transitions and change initiatives; drives financial performance across third party spend.
  • Focus on enhancing knowledge of Truist's processes, culture and clients.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.
  • Proactively challenge the performance of current systems and processes, identifies risks and develops solutions and/or processes and ensures necessary risk mitigation steps are built into the processes.
  • Represent Truist in Real Estate professional organizations and associations
