The Real Estate Management Internship is a 10-week paid program where students rotate through all facets of Property Management at an assigned community. This includes rotations in Leasing, Assistant Manager, Manager, Maintenance, Operations, and Corporate roles (for select locations). Interns receive mentorship from a senior leader at Trinity Property Consultants and may work on real-world special projects with the leadership team. The internship offers a compensation of $19 to $23 per hour.

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to fluently read and write English, accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions, and use all on-site resident management software functions.
  • Enrolled in a 4-year accredited program, Real Estate, Hospitality or Property Management preferred.
  • Sophomore year completed by start of Internship, preferred.
  • 1-year of work experience and/ or extra circular activity involvement, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Practice sales techniques
  • Marketing in-house and offsite including developing marketing analysis reports
  • Learn and use industry software programs
  • Participate in property tours and site visits
  • Learn maintenance management proficiencies and techniques including processing maintenance requests
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Complete market surveys
  • Learn and demonstrate proficiency of the leasing process
  • Process accounts receivable
  • Clerical and phone support
  • Maintain digital and paper records
  • Maintain a community calendar of scheduled events
  • Complete pre-inspections to ensure rent readiness
  • Assist with legal evictions processes
  • Practice critical resolution decision-making skills and demonstrate ability to resolve resident complaints
  • Review the financial move out process
  • Additional tasks or duties as assigned by community leadership
