The Real Estate Loan Origination Support Representative II delivers high-quality support to the Real Estate Department team members by providing service solutions and assistance with the loan origination process, underwriting clarification, escalation, and advanced file review, aiming for World Class Personal Service to Members. This role provides internal support to Loan Consultants, responding to inquiries and serving as an escalation point for assistance with the application process, product matrices, and clarification of underwriting guidelines, products, and services. Key responsibilities include conducting routine audits of loan application files for quality control, monitoring department compliance with regulations such as ECOA – Regulation B and HMDA, and reporting findings to the ILC Manager and Real Estate VP of Loan Originations. The representative will troubleshoot, identify, and resolve loan application issues within the loan origination platform system(s), coordinate scheduling and distribution of funding confirmation calls to Members, and dispatch referral calls for loan consultants. They will also manage electronic communications from Members through various channels, and may assist with loan consultant functions when necessary. Additionally, the role involves ordering and following up on outside services like Appraisal, Escrow, and Title, and managing daily Lock Desk functions, including verifying daily loan pricing and handling new loan lock requests, reinstatements, and cancellations.
