About The Position

This role is responsible for generating weekly interim construction loan reports and organizing the interim construction inspection process. The Real Estate Credit Admin will order inspections from 3rd party inspectors, review interim construction draws and 3rd party inspections for accuracy, and perform other projects as needed. The position requires staying up-to-date on and complying with all applicable banking laws and regulations as well as CNB policies and procedures, reviewing bank processes for compliance, and maintaining a routine and adequate interim construction inspection process. Communication with 3rd party inspectors, generating weekly reports, reviewing and submitting invoices for payment, and assessing the adequacy of interim construction draw forms are also key responsibilities. The role requires regular and punctual attendance, working cooperatively with others, and working overtime as needed. Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
  • Capacity to learn and efficiently utilize various other computer programs including Premier Business Analytics and SageWorks.
  • Advanced level of knowledge with regard to lending practices and institutions specific lending guidelines regarding real estate construction lending.
  • Aptitude for objectively and independently evaluating risk in inspection analysis.
  • Demonstrating high quality judgment, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Competent in analyzing large amounts of data and thinking independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Capability in handling sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
  • A minimum of 3 years of combined related experience in a loan review, operations, credit analysis or real estate transaction related function is required.

Responsibilities

  • Generate weekly interim construction loan reports and organize the interim construction inspection process.
  • Order inspections from 3rd party inspectors.
  • Review interim construction draws and 3rd party inspections for accuracy.
  • Stay up to date on and comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations as well as CNB policies and procedures.
  • Review bank process ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and uphold the written policy.
  • Maintain a routine and adequate interim construction inspection process on interim construction loans in accordance with policy.
  • Communicate with 3rd party inspectors and provide guidance or feedback on any construction projects in question.
  • Generate weekly reports on interim construction loans from Business Analytics for the organization and maintenance of the interim construction inspection log.
  • Review 3rd party inspector invoices for accuracy and promptly submit to the Accounting Department for payment.
  • Review and assess the adequacy of interim construction draw forms for interim construction loans according to construction draw guidelines.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Work cooperatively with others.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
