About The Position

Join Oregon State Credit Union as a Real Estate Closer/Funder and play a critical role in ensuring our members experience seamless loan closing and funding processes. In this role, you’ll collaborate with internal teams, members, and external partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in every real estate transaction. As a Real Estate Closer/Funder, you’ll be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating all aspects of real estate loan closings. You’ll manage documentation, track loan progress, schedule signings, and ensure timely funding while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and commitment to service excellence will help create a smooth and positive experience for our members.

Requirements

  • Ability to review and prepare loan documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience working with loan systems, document preparation software, and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with members, internal staff, and external vendors such as title companies.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding service and building positive relationships.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues during the closing and funding process.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure all processes comply with credit union policies, procedures, and regulations including BSA/AML/OFAC requirements.
  • Two years of experience in the financial services industry required.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate that they have the legal right to work in the US.
  • Must pass a background screening to the satisfaction of Oregon State Credit Union.

Nice To Haves

  • Real estate lending experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in business or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
