Our reputable law firm client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded Real Estate Group in Phoenix, Arizona. The firm handles a broad range of sophisticated real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, homebuilder and development projects, retail shopping centers, office buildings, master-planned communities, multifamily developments, and industrial parks. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of real estate and commercial transactional experience in private practice and be capable of managing sophisticated transactions and real estate closings. Requirements
- 5–8 years of real estate and commercial transactional experience in private practice.
- Current Arizona bar/law license required.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage real estate closings.
- Experience reviewing title commitments and surveys.
- Significant drafting and negotiation experience involving purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint development agreements, and construction escrow agreements.
- Experience drafting CC&Rs and easements for residential and commercial developments.
- Strong analytical, drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to distinguish material issues and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple complex matters and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality client service.
Responsibilities
- Manage real estate transactions and closings from inception through completion.
- Review and analyze title commitments and surveys.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements.
- Draft and negotiate commercial leases.
- Handle joint development agreements and construction escrow agreements.
- Draft covenants, conditions and restrictions (CC&Rs) and easements for residential and commercial projects.
- Assist clients with acquisitions and dispositions of real property.
- Work on development matters involving homebuilder projects, retail centers, office buildings, master-planned communities, multifamily projects, and industrial developments.
- Analyze complex information, identify material issues, and recommend practical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Collaborate with attorneys and client teams while managing multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously.
