We are seeking highly motivated Real Estate Attorney to join our growing practice across North Carolina, including Charlotte, Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Leland, and Columbia. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in North Carolina
- 1+ years of experience preferred
- Experience in real estate strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
Nice To Haves
- Established experience in one or more of the firm’s practice areas
- Portable book of business (preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload independently from inception through resolution
- Attend court proceedings including trials, motion hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and related proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Communicate with clients, brokers, lenders, witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with team members across multiple offices
