About The Position

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 100 firm in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney interested in sophisticated commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing transactions for developers, investors, owners, lenders, and other sophisticated clients.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and real estate finance
  • Experience representing developers, investors, property owners, lenders, borrowers, and institutional clients
  • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, development agreements, loan documents, and other real estate transaction documents
  • Experience handling title, survey, zoning, and other real estate due diligence
  • Experience coordinating complex transactions from initial diligence through closing
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with joint ventures, real estate private equity, portfolio transactions, or development projects is a plus
  • Experience with commercial leasing involving office, retail, industrial, multifamily, or other property types is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions
  • Manage acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and finance
  • Represent developers, investors, lenders, owners, and other sophisticated clients
  • Take on meaningful transaction responsibility and direct client interaction
  • Gain exposure to significant real estate investments and development projects
  • Collaborate with complementary corporate, finance, tax, and litigation practices
  • Develop a strong platform for long-term career development and advancement
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, development agreements, loan documents, and other real estate transaction documents
  • Handle title, survey, zoning, and other real estate due diligence
  • Coordinate complex transactions from initial diligence through closing

Benefits

  • Compensation $190,000 – $325,000+
  • Hybrid flexibility
