Real Estate Analyst
About The Position
The Business Analyst, Real Estate plays a key role in supporting Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ global real estate strategy by delivering data-driven insights, financial analysis, and strategic reporting across owned and leased properties. This role partners closely with Finance, Operations, and Executive stakeholders to evaluate site performance, optimize portfolio utilization, and support acquisitions, dispositions, and lease negotiations. In addition to internal portfolio analysis, the role is responsible for reviewing and synthesizing external real estate and market data to identify industry trends and competitive insights for management review. The Business Analyst prepares executive-level reporting, develops presentation materials, and produces a recurring monthly newsletter that communicates key internal metrics, performance trends, and strategic insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, commercial real estate knowledge, and polished communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that support operational efficiency and long-term portfolio value.
