About The Position

AES US Renewables & Power is seeking a Real Estate Analyst to support the development of innovative renewable energy projects as a valued member of AES's Real Estate team. The team plays a critical role in advancing and financing real estate activities for solar, wind, thermal, and energy storage projects across the United States. Reporting to a Real Estate Senior Manager, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of energy project real estate matters. You will collaborate with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders while contributing to projects that help shape the future of clean energy. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to learn, build expertise, and grow within a dynamic and mission-driven organization. This fast-paced position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and may include up to 10% travel, as needed. The analyst will work as part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team that includes professionals from Origination, Project Development, Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Construction. You will also engage with external partners, including consultants, attorneys, surveyors, landowners, customers, project stakeholders, and utility companies, gaining broad exposure to the development lifecycle of renewable energy projects.

Requirements

Foundational knowledge of real estate principles, processes, and industry practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Interest in renewable energy and a passion for supporting the development of sustainable infrastructure projects.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Creative, analytical, and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

Experience in real estate development, renewable energy, infrastructure, land administration, or a related field is preferred. We welcome candidates with a variety of backgrounds and transferable experience.
Familiarity with SAP, GIS, and Google Earth is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Support all real estate aspects of project development, construction, and financing activities, including survey coordination, site plan reviews, buildable area analyses, site visits, and collaboration with investors and title companies to secure lender's and owner's title insurance policies.
Assist with the management and maintenance of land-related data within AES's land database and support its integration with GIS platforms.
Support the routing, approval, and payment of vendor invoices through SAP Fiori.
Assist with the routing, approval, recording, and tracking of site control agreements and title-related curative documents.
Contribute to the review of title reports and the development of title curative strategies and action plans.
Review ALTA surveys for accuracy and completeness.
Support title curative efforts, including mineral ownership research and analysis, utility crossing consents, and mortgage subordinations.
Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with title companies, brokers, surveyors, government agencies, landowners, attorneys, and AES team members to mitigate risk and support successful project financing outcomes.
