This is a field-based role in Houston, TX, focused on outside sales and in-home seller appointments. The company is a trusted local home buying company that purchases houses directly from homeowners throughout Greater Houston. They provide a no-drama solution for sellers needing to sell without repairs, showings, agent commissions, or traditional listing uncertainties. The company assists homeowners facing various life situations such as inherited properties, foreclosure pressure, expensive repairs, difficult tenants, divorce, relocation, probate, financial stress, or properties requiring extensive work for the retail market. This is a growing, reputable real estate investment company with 6 years in business, possessing strong marketing, consistent inbound lead flow, and a proven sales process. They are seeking a skilled closer to handle the volume of qualified seller opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven success in high-ticket B2C sales, outside sales, in-home sales, door-to-door, solar, roofing, automotive, insurance, mortgage, home services, or a similarly competitive sales environment.
  • Steady work history without job hopping every 12-18 months.
  • Based in Houston and comfortable driving throughout the city for appointments.
  • Reliable vehicle and active driver's license.
  • Highly motivated by money, production, and winning.
  • Ability to ask direct questions without sounding abrasive.
  • Ability to stay calm when sellers push back.
  • Ability to build trust quickly with people from different backgrounds.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and good judgment.
  • Ability to follow up consistently without being babysat.
  • Ability to keep clean CRM notes and manage pipeline professionally.
  • Willingness to accept coaching and apply it.
  • Competitive without being arrogant.
  • Takes ownership when something goes wrong.
  • Desire for a long-term seat where performance can create real income and wealth through real estate.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish is a major plus.
  • Real estate experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Turn Qualified Seller Appointments Into Signed Contracts by understanding homeowner situations, asking direct questions, uncovering motivation, handling objections, making offers, and securing agreements.
  • Run In-Home Appointments Across Greater Houston, managing schedules, planning routes, inspecting properties, gathering information, and obtaining signed contracts or clear next steps.
  • Underwrite Deals and Present Offers With Confidence by evaluating property condition, repair needs, resale value, seller motivation, risk, and offer strategy, and learning the company's underwriting process.
  • Own Follow-Up Until There Is a Clear Outcome by managing the opportunity pipeline, maintaining CRM notes, setting next steps, and following up through various communication channels.
  • Represent the Brand With Professionalism and Empathy, earning trust, explaining options clearly, and confidently asking for the contract when appropriate.
  • Calculate offer ranges using the company’s underwriting process.
  • Present cash offers and negotiate purchase agreements.
  • Handle objections around price, repairs, timing, uncertainty, and competing options.
  • Keep the CRM updated with notes, tasks, statuses, and follow-up dates.
  • Work closely with lead managers, leadership, transaction coordination, and dispositions.
  • Attend team huddles, pipeline meetings, sales training, roleplays, and coaching sessions.
  • Review calls/appointments and apply feedback quickly.
