About The Position

Cedar Brook Property, a subsidiary of Bayview Asset Management, is seeking a motivated, goal-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to join their team as a Real Estate Acquisitions Agent in Indianapolis. This role is primarily responsible for engaging with motivated sellers, acting as the main point of contact, and utilizing sales and negotiation skills to achieve results. It is a highly entrepreneurial position with clear goals and performance incentives. The salary range is $50,000 to $60,000 with commission, and top performers exceeded $125,000 in total compensation last year. The work environment is hybrid, combining remote work with on-site visits.

Requirements

  • 4-10 years in sales or business development.
  • Must possess a real estate license or demonstrate a willingness and ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mentality, and the ability to meet clear goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and listening skills; ability to build rapport and close deals effectively.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
  • Take ownership of work and results; demonstrate a high level of integrity in all transactions.
  • Ability to use CRM software to track leads and manage client interactions; comfortable with technology and digital tools.
  • Willingness to work both during business hours and evenings or weekends to meet clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and establish trust with home sellers, providing superior client service by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Be directly involved in purchasing homes, making offers based on market trends, and overseeing the transaction process.
  • Actively cultivate relationships with sellers and the local real estate network, managing leads and following up to close deals effectively.
  • Use strong negotiation skills to create win-win deals and close transactions promptly.
  • Work seamlessly with title, legal, construction, and operations teams, and manage/collaborate with junior team members.
  • Travel to properties to conduct assessments and meet with clients for in-depth discussions on property values, repairs, and offers.
