Requirements

Business or Finance degree preferred, with a strong preference for candidates who specialized in finance
Demonstrated interest and/or experience working in infrastructure broadly, with exposure to project finance, infrastructure advisory, or infrastructure investing
Strong financial modeling skills
Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
Ability to use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights and solve problems
Substantial years of experience preferably at a Big Four firm, bank, asset manager, fund, or similar environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate with diverse teams

Nice To Haves

Sector-specific experience is considered an asset but not required
Familiarity with tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar platforms is considered an asset
Progress towards or completion of a professional finance designation, such as the CFA, is preferred
Demonstrated ability to learn and problem-solve, with a curious mindset and comfort working in ambiguous situations
Familiarity with AI / GenAI use cases is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Support transaction teams on project finance and infrastructure engagements
Actively contribute to project developments, financings, and transactions within the infrastructure space
Develop and review financial models and perform complex data analysis, including preparing visual representations of data
Conduct financial and commercial analysis of projects and companies, including feasibility assessments and cash-flow analysis
Lead the preparation of client reports, presentations, and information memorandums
Undertake market research and benchmarking exercises and stay current on developments in the Canadian infrastructure market
Contribute business development initiatives, including the preparation of pitch decks, marketing materials, and proposals
Coach and review work completed by Associates, while working collaboratively with managers and senior team members
