Requirements

  • Business or Finance degree preferred, with a strong preference for candidates who specialized in finance
  • Interest in working in a project finance and M&A environment
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights and solve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and problem-solve, with a curious mindset and comfort working in ambiguous situations

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or previous experience at a Big Four firm, bank, asset manager, fund, or similar environment is considered an asset
  • Progress towards a professional finance designation, such as the CFA, is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with AI / GenAI use cases is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support transaction teams on project finance and infrastructure engagements
  • Participate in project developments, financings, and transactions within the infrastructure space
  • Assist in developing financial models and performing complex data analysis, including preparing visual representations of data
  • Conduct financial and commercial analysis of projects and companies, including feasibility assessments
  • Assist in the preparation of client reports, presentations, and information memorandums
  • Undertake market research and benchmarking exercises as directed
  • Assist in business development initiatives, including the preparation of pitch decks, marketing materials, and proposals
  • Work collaboratively with managers and senior team members across multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
