About The Position

This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year-round. This position is responsible to safely and properly operate loader to feed conveyors, hoppers or load trucks. Will need to display a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members.

Requirements

General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent
Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license, medical card and clean driving record
Prior Ready Mix delivery experience and load operator skills required
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime
Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers

Nice To Haves

Class B is wanted, but not required, Class A preferred

Responsibilities

Load Ready Mix plant with aggregates to facilitate daily Ready-Mix demands
Ability to manage plant and ground maintenance
Manage placement and disposal of carry-back concrete
Assist the plant supervisor with environmental challenges
Manage and order inbound aggregates on a demand/project basis
Operate a ready-mix concrete truck and facilitate deliveries on slow production days
Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
Other duties assigned as needed
