About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete products to customers. The position requires performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring accurate delivery tickets, and maintaining communication with dispatch. Assistance with loading and unloading materials may also be required, along with adherence to all safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical capability to handle the demands of the job.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Must hold current CDL-B or CDL-A.
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete products to customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Ensure accurate delivery tickets and maintain communication with dispatch.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
