Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely
- Strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and responsible driving practices
- Ability to manage time, follow delivery schedules, and adapt to changing job site conditions
- Mechanical awareness to identify basic equipment or vehicle issues
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused, team-oriented approach
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations
- Operate and control mixing functions to ensure product quality meets specifications
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation accurately
- Communicate with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers to coordinate efficient deliveries
- Clean and maintain the truck to ensure safe operation and a professional appearance
