About The Position

Huntington Learning Center is hiring part-time Reading & Math Tutors to work with students in grades K–8. This is an excellent opportunity for certified teachers, retired educators, recent college graduates, and professionals who enjoy working with students in a structured academic environment. Huntington provides the curriculum, materials, and training so you can focus on what you enjoy most—teaching students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (any major)
• Strong reading and math skills
• Patient, dependable, and professional
• Able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
• Comfortable working with elementary and middle school students

Nice To Haves

• Teaching certification is a plus but not required
• Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group instruction to students in grades K-8.
• Focus on teaching students using the provided curriculum and materials.
• Help students build confidence and succeed in school.
