About The Position

Buckeye Union School District is hiring a temporary, hourly Reading Intervention Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year at Silva Valley Elementary School in El Dorado Hills, California. The role provides targeted reading instructional support to students.

The assignment runs from November 30, 2026, through May 20, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with four paid hours per day, including a 15-minute break. No work is scheduled during school holidays or breaks. The assignment is limited to a maximum of 130 workdays and includes additional non-workdays on December 18, 2026, and March 4–5, 2027. Compensation is $32.50 per hour.

Buckeye Union School District serves approximately 4,300 students across five neighborhood elementary schools, two middle schools, and a district-operated TK–8 Charter Montessori school. The district describes its education as comprehensive, technology-rich, and standards-based.

Requirements

• Valid California Teaching Credential.
• English Learner Authorization.
